The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to warn Dutch citizens against travel to all parts of Iraq, which remain very dangerous. Attacks against military and civilian targets throught the country continue, includng hostage-taking, kidnappings and random killings.

Dutch citizens in Iraq are therefore strongly advised to consider whether a prolonged stay in Iraq is necessary. Dutch citizenss who chose to visit or remain in Iraq despite this warning are urged to register by e-mail or telephone with the Dutch Embassy in Bagdad.
